Teach your child to brush teeth in 2 minutes

Making kids brush their teeth correctly and properly is always a challenge for their parents, especially when they are in a hurry to rush off to school in  the morning!

Children are amazing imitators, so there is nothing like a parent’s example to teach them the correct way of brushing. Let your kid watch you brush your teeth effectively and in correct ways.  It will help them to incorporate good brushing techniques easily in their  daily  routine.

Here are some important steps which will help your kids brush their teeth correctly and effectively:

1. Brush your teeth for two minutes – Ask your children to hold the brush at a 45-degree angle and teach them to brush gently in short strokes. Keep them engaged at least for two minutes.

2. Avoid harsh brushing – Your kids can be really hard  with their toothbrush! So warn them that they can actually hurt their gums and teeth by harsh brushing. Teach them to brush gently and slowly.

3. Don’t forget to clean mouth, tongue and other parts – Teach your children to clean their tongue from back to front as this will help to remove odor causing bacteria and will freshen their breath.

In case your kid does not follow these correct ways of brushing teeth, try to brush  his teeth first by yourself and then let  him do the job for himself.
