During this process the periodontist removes excess gum tissues and possibly bones to expose more of the tooth’s surface. It can be done on one or more teeth creating an even gum line for a natural looking smile.

Surgeries also include repositioning the upper jaw if it sticks out too much. This process may take up to 2 years to complete as it is a very complicated procedure.
